The idea for the Habibi Shorts originated in 2021 when we recognized the lack of suitable sportswear options for Muslim men. By 2022, we had developed a prototype that met the specific requirements of our target audience. Now, in the current version, we have refined the design to be even more practical and versatile.
What makes the Habibi Shorts unique?
Our Habibi Shorts are designed as a 2-in-1 solution, combining the functionality of shorts with the modesty required by Islamic dress codes. The shorts come with built in compressions that cover the knees. In Islam, men are required to cover their awrah (stomach, knees, chest, etc) and ensure that their clothing does not pass their ankles. Our shorts are tailored to meet these guidelines while providing the comfort and flexibility needed for sports activities.
